Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Part Time Ultrasound Technologist in Novi, MI. The role involves performing ultrasound imaging and patient care under the Primary Care team, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have formal sonography training, RDMS certification, and at least 1 year of experience, with preference for breast and MSK ultrasound. This position supports flexible scheduling and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Formal sonography program completion or equivalent course of study.
• RDMS certification required (abdomen, vascular, OB/GYN preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of sonography experience preferred.
• Breast ultrasound and MSK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sonography imaging procedures, properly preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams.
• Position the patient appropriately to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Organize and monitor patient flow to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Proactively understand the needs of our customers and patients.
• Effectively provide service and resolve problems.
• Explain procedures to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate cooperation.
• Perform image reconstruction as necessary.
• Screen patients prior to scan for precautions or contraindications.
