IVI RMA North America in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Part-time Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer to support fertility care. The role involves performing reproductive ultrasounds, assisting with procedures, and delivering compassionate patient care in a specialized setting.

The position schedules Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with 2+ years of ultrasound experience and formal ultrasound training required.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training and certification.
• Current BLS Certification - required.
• 2+ years of experience as an ultrasound technologist - required.
• Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
• Establishes personal rapport with patients.
• Provides explanations of procedures.
• Performs detailed examinations of anatomy.
• Performs bladder and uterus scans during embryo transfers and other medical procedures.
• Assists with procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions.

Job Purpose:

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing sonography appropriately and accurately to assist physician visualization and interpretation during gynecological procedures.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

Academic Training:
