Job summary

IVI-RMA in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Part-time Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer to join our women's health team. You will perform reproductive ultrasound studies, assist with fertility procedures, and support patients through treatment with a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform reproductive ultrasound studies and assist with fertility procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Conduct detailed anatomical examinations and support embryo transfer procedures.
• Set up procedures ensuring sterile technique and safety.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

In this role, you'll perform reproductive ultrasounds, assist with fertility-related procedures, and help provide exceptional patient care throughout the treatment process. Job Purpose

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for performing sonography appropriately and accurately to assist physician visualization and interpretation during gynecological procedures.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities

• Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
• Establishes personal rapport with patients.
• Provides explanations of procedures.
• Performs detailed examinations of anatomy.
• Performs bladder and uterus scans during embryo transfers and other medical procedures.
• Assists with procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions.

Academic Training

• Completion of formal Ultrasound training and certification
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: Ultrasound
• Current BLS Certification - required
  • Studies level: Certification
  • Studies area: BLS

Position Requirements/Experience

• Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility - preferred
• 2+ years of experience as an ultrasound technologist - required

Technical Skills

• Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.
• Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
