WMUR-TV in Manchester, NH, a Hearst Television station, is seeking a Part-Time Broadcast Production Assistant to join our production team. You will operate cameras, teleprompter, audio, graphics, and related equipment for live newscasts and post‑production projects.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to stay calm under time pressure. Experience with editing is necessary, and Adobe Premiere is used to craft syndicated promos and on‑air content.

Formación

• Experience with television newscast equipment and software.
• Editing experience is necessary.
• Ability to work under time pressure in live newscast production.
• Military experience will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cameras and studio floor directing.
• Move and handle props and sets during productions.
• Construction, maintenance, installation and operation of props, cameras, prompters, sets and other production equipment.
• Lighting and script preparation for newscasts.
• Maintain appearance of studios including cleaning of set and floors.
• Understand and maintain lighting grid and control board.
• Climb ladders to change light bulbs and adjust fixtures on the grid.
• Edit syndicated promos for air and web content using Adobe Premiere.
• Assist the directors.
