Job summary

Nexstar Media Group Inc. is seeking a Production Assistant to support live and recorded broadcasts. The role involves composing and framing camera shots, adjusting focus, exposure, and lighting as directed, and setting up cameras and related equipment.

You will operate studio and remote cameras, coordinate with directors, produce graphics for the newscast, test and maintain equipment, and help meet deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation
