Job summary

Roane State Community College invites applications for part-time Tutor Pool positions in the Learning Center and Learning Support Lab. Roles are contingent on funding with hours varying each semester and may be available across campuses and online.

Tutors will conduct sessions in person, via Zoom, and through D2L for students and staff, including consultations for small groups when needed.

Qualifications

• Completed coursework or degree in the specialized area to be tutored.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher in the area of specialization and 3.0 or higher overall.
• Preferred: Zoom experience and familiarity with D2L.
• Microsoft Office skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring sessions in person, over Zoom, and through D2L for students and staff at the RSCC Learning Centers.
• Offer tutoring consultations for small groups as needed.
