Indiana University’s IU Dining in Bloomington is hiring a part-time dining attendant for Tudor Room and campus dining operations. You will help serve guests, keep spaces clean, and support events and daily lunch service.
The role requires teamwork, a professional appearance, and a willingness to learn—hours include Sundays through Fridays, with a minimum of 10 hours per week. Pay starts at $12.75 per hour, with benefits for eligible staff.

IMU dining runs all dining operations in the Indiana Memorial Union, including the Tudor Room, Sugar and Spice, The Vault Pub, and the Globe. IMU dining staff work closely with the hotel and catering teams, as well as IU's retail dining, to embody the Hoosier spirit through every customer interaction.
IU Dining and Hospitality provides a dynamic work environment with a variety of events, from weddings, private events, fine dining, and casual.

Required
This position requires tasks typically associated with food service work. It involves periods of both sedentary work and times of frequent movement about the workspace. Using commercial kitchen equipment and tools, moving supplies weighing from 20 - 30 pounds. The role requires the ability to detect items in close proximity as well as far away; discern between colors; detect objects in peripheral space of self; discern items in detail; and to have good depth perception. This role also will work indoors around both hot and cold temperatures and loud noises. This role involves handling meat and plant-based food products as well as a variety of ingredients that may include some or all of the top 9 allergens in the preparation of menu items and during the course of cleaning and ware-washing tasks. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

9:00 AM- 4:00 PM, Sunday-Friday. Minimum of 10 hours per week, Sunday-Friday.
Position is capped at 29 hours per week
