Job summary

Trig's is seeking a part-time Class A CDL truck driver to join our logistics team. The driver will unload/load as needed, operate company equipment, and ensure safe, timely deliveries to our stores while keeping DOT compliance and fuel logs current.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with drivers home each day. Valid Class A CDL and DOT prerequisites are required; company will support training and licensing as needed. Benefits include vision, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Preferably 2+ years experience.
• Pre-employment and ongoing random alcohol/drug screenings per DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient deliveries to Trig's stores and facilities.
• Operate Class A CDL with a current Fed Med certificate as required.
• Unload/load product using forklift, power jack, power lift, hand jack and other equipment as needed.
• Follow proper check-in/check-out procedures on all delivery stops and ensure proper pickup/drop-off of materials.
• Complete all paperwork and mileage/drive time records as required by CFR Title 49 for Transportation.
• Inform Transportation/Logistics Manager of maintenance or schedule concerns to keep deliveries on schedule and safe.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws while operating company equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate with dispatching leaders, trucking leaders, and customers to ensure a positive customer experience.

JobResponsibilities Include:

• Performing all duties and tasks in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the best internal delivery service to all company facilities and customer service to our guests.
• Appropriate Class A CDL in good standing and current Fed Med certificate is required.
• Operate forklift, power jack, power lift, hand jack, and other equipment as needed to unload and load product safely. (Power equipment certification training required. Training provided by company)
• Follow proper check‑in/check‑out procedures on all delivery stops in ensure proper pick‑up and drop‑off of materials (includes equipment deliveries,refrigerated and non‑refrigerated product, cardboard bails, food racks, etc.) Most freight is palletized for loading and unloading.
• Perform all duties as required under Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)Title 49 for Transportation.
• Complete all paperwork/record keeping activities as required such as tracking mileage and drive time.
• Inform Transportation/Logistics Manager in a timely fashion of any maintenance concerns or delivery schedule concerns so that our transport jobs can continue on schedule and safely.
• Following all applicable traffic laws while operating company equipment and vehicles.
• Practice various safety measures and protocols when pulled over on the side of the road for either emergency or maintenance related situations.
• Practice appropriate communication with dispatching leaders, trucking leaders, and customers to ensure all parties have a positive experience with our services.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Schedule is typically Monday through Friday. Drivers are home each day.

Certification/Licensing and Other Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Preferably 2+ years experience.
• The company will cover the costs of obtaining training or licensing as needed.
• Pre‑employment and ongoing random alcohol/drug screenings will be required in compliance with DOT Regulations.
