Youth-Advocate-Programs, Inc. seeks a Part-Time Truancy Advocate to support students in truancy intervention programs. You will advocate for youths with developmental or behavioral challenges, coordinating services for families and schools.

The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay, a sign-on bonus, and opportunities to work evenings and weekends. Associates degree required; bilingual Spanish a plus; travel throughout the community is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required.
• Experience working with youth and families.
• Must be organized with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to participants and families.
• Develop service plans based on a strength-based wrap around model.
• Work with students at high-risk of expulsion or with behavioral challenges.
• Provide advocacy in school, community and home settings.
