Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, human development, or related field preferred.
Experience with middle school students in educational, mentoring, tutoring, nonprofit, or youth-serving setting.
Experience providing tutoring, academic support, group facilitation, or college/career awareness activities.
Familiarity with TRIO or similar federal programs preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist TRIO Talent Search staff in providing academic support, tutoring, goal-setting, and college/career awareness activities for middle school participants.
Plan and deliver workshops, campus visits, field trips, and family events; supervise and engage students.
Document participant contacts, services, attendance, and progress in the program database while preserving confidentiality.
