Job summary

Springwell is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Community Food Service Worker to support the Nutrition Department with meal delivery and serving at elder lunch sites in Waltham or Marlborough. The role involves staffing staging and community dining sites and contributing to hunger relief for seniors.

The position is 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., with mileage reimbursement and benefits eligibility. It is based at one location, with travel as needed to cover sites.

Qualifications

• Reliable car, current driver's license, and safe driving record required.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs.
• Flexible, able to work independently, friendly, and enjoy working with elders.
• Some experience with elders preferred.
• Knowledge of geographic area a plus.

Responsibilities

• Duties include meal delivery to elders and serving meals at elder lunch sites.
• Staff staging or community dining sites for the Springwell Nutrition Department.
• Other projects as assigned.
