Job summary

You will process deposits, cash checks, handle withdrawals, and assist with new account openings while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with bank policies.

The role requires standing duties, travel up to 25% of time, and strong communication in person, by phone, and email.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; banking/business coursework helpful.
• Two years cash handling and customer service background.
• Familiarity with teller and CSR roles and banking policies; other banking areas are a plus.
• Excellent customer service, problem resolution, and professional image.
• Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable with clients in various settings.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and work with deadlines.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office; experience with banking systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple branches to provide retail coverage and staffing.
• Accept deposits and loan payments for business and personal accounts.
• Cash checks and process savings withdrawals within authorized limits.
• Handle official checks and cash advances; assist with mail deposits and night depository.
• Open personal and business accounts, maintain client information files.
• Provide consultative sales and promote banking products and services.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures; protect customer confidentiality.
• Assist customers with changes, reconciliation, or complaints; research issues.
