Job summary

Therapy Source, Inc. is seeking a part-time School Counselor to provide in-person counseling for public school students in New Jersey (K–5), on a leave-coverage basis from September through December 23, 2026, with potential to extend.

Pay is $40–$50 per hour. The position is 3 days per week, 8:15am–2:30pm, with a caseload of about 10 students. Responsibilities include trauma-informed therapy, assessing needs, and coordinating supports for families and classrooms.

Qualifications

• New Jersey school certification required.
• Possession of up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain.
• Proof of professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess students in need of trauma support.
• Conduct trauma-informed therapy for individuals, groups, or families.
• Respond to progress data with targeted interventions and case management.
• Provide supports to students from low-income households, homeless, foster care, or involved with the justice system.
