Job summary

Therapy Source, Inc. is seeking a part-time School Counselor to provide in-person counseling to private school students in the New York area.

This position runs for the remainder of the current school year and offers flexible half-days and a supportive account team. The counselor must hold New York School Counselor Certification, have or be willing to obtain required clearances, and provide liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Proof of individual liability insurance or readiness to acquire it.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-person guidance and support to address students' academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Developing and implementing individualized plans to help students achieve their goals.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Delivering services aligned with students’ IEPs when applicable.
