Qualifications

• Experience in K-12 counseling and collaboration with parents, staff and community.

Responsibilities

• Create and model a respectful learning environment.
• Work with diverse cultures or backgrounds.
• Develop classroom guidance activities addressing personal safety, emotional awareness and development.
• Monitor students to ensure appropriate referrals and plans.
• Participate in development and implementation of individual student plans (IEP/504).
• Work with RTI as part of the school team.
• Consult with teachers, students, and parents to solve problems.
