Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Site Integrity. You will patrol, deter incidents, assist passengers and staff, and maintain a visible, professional presence across transit facilities.

The role offers flexible scheduling with Day/ Night shifts and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and a drug screen; a valid driver’s license may be required for

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and relevant public agency personnel.
