Position Description

We are immediately hiring a Part-Time Class A CDL Shuttle Transfer Driver at Ryder in Portland, ME. We are looking for the right Trucker to join our team.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $21 Per Hour
• Monday to Friday
• 30 hours per week
• Start time: 7am
• Paid Training
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily

All Drivers benefit from 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by Ryder Trained Technicians, and our Service Employees fuel up trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities.

• Route: Shuttle equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight: No Touch - Empty trailers for equipment shuttle transfer

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder Drug Test
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle Check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Verifiable Class A tractor trailer experience:
• 9 months within past 3 years, OR
• 2 years within past 5 years, OR
• 5 years within past 10 years

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
