Job summary

Jefferson County is seeking a Training Facilitator to join the HR Organizational Development & Training Team in Golden. The role is part-time (roughly 15–30 hours per month) with in-person and virtual duties across county facilities and remote options.

Hiring range is $27-$32 per hour USD. Minimum 2 years’ experience facilitating training in both virtual and in-person settings; HS diploma or GED required. Benefits are available and telework options may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of work-related training facilitation experience (virtual and in-person).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate trainings on topics such as conflict resolution, customer service, emotional intelligence, leadership and inclusion.
• Develop strong relationships across the organization as a Training Team representative.
• Synthesize learning needs and relay questions to HR colleagues.
• Support LEAD program to develop leadership and retention.
• Deliver training through Zoom, Teams, WebEx and in-person formats.
• Review and provide feedback on courses in development as needed.
• Attend HR All Staff or Training Team meetings as needed.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as required.
