Job summary

The City of Anaheim Public Works Department is seeking a Part Time Associate Engineer in the Traffic & Transportation Section. Two years of engineering experience plus a civil engineering degree are required, with EIT/PE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional engineering experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• EIT or PE certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review development plans for conformance with City standards.
• Coordinate with other City departments and external agencies.
• Attend Planning Commission meetings and represent Traffic & Transportation.
• Prepare engineering studies and cost estimates.
• Assist in budget preparation and project management.

Education

Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
