Part Time Tournament Coordinator

$13.47/hour; evenings and weekends

• High school diploma or GED. Supplemented by two (2) years of experience in recreation programming, general administration; OR any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license.

The Part Time Tournament Coordinator will be responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center during weekend tournaments, competitive events, and other assigned activities. Provides on-site oversight to ensure events are conducted in a safe, organized, and professional manner. Serves as a primary point of contact for participants, spectators, officials, and event staff; handles event-related monies; and uses strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address questions, concerns, and unexpected situations that may arise during events.
