Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Sales Representative in Grand Prairie, TX. You will greet and assist customers, maintain a neat, stocked sales floor, promote the Northern Tool credit card program, and support management with day-to-day store operations.

Spanish language skills preferred. Schedule: 15 hours per week. This role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork, with incentive pay for protection plans and credit card sales.

Qualifications

• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Experience in retail sales, cashier or customer service appreciated but not required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Flexible availability including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a one-stop shopping experience with exceptional customer service, ask probing inquiries to better understand the customer's needs.
• Greeting customers wherever they are in the store, assisting them with product selection, merchandising aisles and endcaps, and positioning merchandise appropriately.
• Offering Protection Plans on eligible products and promoting the credit card during transactions (incentive pay for protection plans and credit cards).
• Collaborate with team to improve service and store operations.
