Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Sales Representative to greet and assist customers on the sales floor. You will maintain an organized, in-stock merchandise presentation and promote our credit card program and protection plans on qualifying items.

Open availability required for a 15-hour workweek, with emphasis on weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is helpful, and a positive, professional attitude is essential to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Recent or prior retail sales, cashier or customer service experience is nice but not required.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Love of tools & equipment and a service-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create a one-stop shopping experience with exceptional customer service and ask probing questions to understand customer needs.
• Greet customers in-store, assist with product selection, organize merchandise, and position endcaps.
• Offer Protection Plans and our credit card on transactions; incentive pay for these efforts.
• Support the management team with day-to-day store merchandise and operations.
