Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Sales Representative to greet customers, assist with product selection, and promote protection plans and credit options. The role emphasizes friendly, proactive service and a neat, well-stocked sales floor to ensure a quick, hassle-free shopping experience for tradespeople and weekend warriors alike.

Flexible weekend/closing shift availability is required, with a 12-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier or customer service experience encouraged but not required.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays.
• Love of tools and equipment and a service-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create a one-stop shopping experience with exceptional customer service and understand customer needs.
• Greet customers in the store, assist with product selection, and organize aisles and endcaps.
• Promote Protection Plans and credit card offerings on transactions; incentive pay applies.
• Be a team player, assist with tasks to improve service to customers.
