Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to greet customers, handle checkout, and uphold our high brand standards. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering a fast, friendly, and hassle-free shopping experience.

You will promote Protection Plans and our credit card during transactions, with incentives for successful upsells. The role requires weekend/holiday availability and a love of tools, with physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Flexible availability including some weekends and holidays.
• Love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maintain service focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they enter the store and ensure an excellent shopping experience.
• Complete all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Promote Protection Plan on eligible products and offer our credit card on transactions.
• Incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards.
• Be a team player by helping with merchandise, price changes, and other tasks to support customers.
