Description

Part Time to Full Time General Mechanic for a 20 Vehicle Fleet and small equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing construction equipment, Isuzu NPR trucks, GMC vans, Chevy S10 pickups, and small landscaping equipment. Must have knowledge of small equipment and general auto repair. Own basic tools required. Must be able to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems; welding skills are a plus.

Specific duties include timely repair and preventative maintenance on small engines and vehicles with diesel and gas engines. Skills required: ability to work weekends, heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), effective time management, adherence to schedules, excellent attendance, and minimal supervision. Preferred experience in cooling systems, electrical systems, diesel/gas engines, fuel systems, steering, suspension, auto body repair, painting, and welding. Maintain a safe work environment, demonstrate persistence, and strive to improve skills.
