Job summary

Cutler Elementary School in Hamilton, Massachusetts, part of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District, is hiring a Part-Time Title I Math Tutor. The role supports students in grades 1-5, delivering targeted math services during the school day and up to 15 hours per week.

Starting date is immediate, with collaboration across teachers for interventions. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have interest in supporting students in need, with experience preferred and eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Required.
• Interest in working with students in need of support.
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work up to 15 hours per week during the school day, to be determined by the Principal.
• Work in and outside of the classroom with small groups and individual students.
• Have the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Deliver direct math services to students identified in need of support in grades 1-5.
• Administer diagnostic screenings as needed.
• Progress monitor and make instructional adjustments based on student data.
• Partner with classroom teachers and other elementary math tutors to plan interventions.
• Strong candidates should have the ability to be flexible, work as part of a team, be a self-starter, and exhibit strong communication skills.
