Job summary

Atlanta Mission in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Part-Time Associate to handle all retail operations at the Gainesville Thrift Store. This position offers up to 25 hours per week with daytime shifts and requires friendly customer service, accurate cash handling, and a Christ-centered approach aligned with our ministry.

You will maintain store presentation, assist customers, help with register transactions, stock shelves, and support the Retail Management team.

Qualifications

• Must have a commitment to Atlanta Mission Stores’ mission.
• Must be a people person with a servant’s heart.
• Experience in retail operations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist Retail Management in building a mission-centered team.
• Provide friendly greetings and assist customers throughout shopping.
• Handle register transactions and payments securely.
• Maintain store appearance and displays each shift.
• Restock shelves and maintain fitting rooms.
• Set up or adjust store displays to entice shoppers.
• Communicate daily events related to customer service and store operations.
• Attend training and store meetings as scheduled.
