Job summary

Minnesota Council of Nonprofits is seeking a Part-Time Recreation Support Staff for the Afternoon Shift to provide services to participants with intellectual/developmental disabilities in group settings at multiple Minnesota locations.

You will lead onsite activities (cooking, arts, physical activity, sensory, science) and accompany outings, ensure safety, promote social engagement, and encourage peer interaction within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record (18+).
• Ability to use clear and understandable written and verbal English.
• Ability to learn and perform procedures for the care of an individual with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to participants and ensure safety during activities.
• Support integration into group social settings and promote participation.
• Encourage developmentally appropriate activities and positive peer interactions.
