Job summary

Reach for Resources, Inc. is seeking a part-time team member to assist the adaptive recreation department in offering inclusive programs for adults and children with intellectual disabilities.

You will help run social, recreation and athletic activities, support participants' engagement, and foster community inclusion. Locations span the West and Northwest metro; evening and weekend availability is required, and a current driver’s license with reliable transportation is expected to support

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Current driver’s license in good standing & reliable transportation.
• Interest in helping others and engaging with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing social, recreation and athletic programs designed for kids and adults with disabilities.
• Provide inclusion assistance for participants in city park and recreation programs.
• Teach staff strategies for working with individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers; maintain proper documentation.
