El Camino College invites applications for anticipated part-time faculty positions in Theatre for the 2027 spring semester. Areas include Technical Theatre Production and Musical Theatre Production.
Responsibilities include assessing learning outcomes, supporting student success, and collaborating with faculty and industry partners. Online or hybrid teaching is possible with distance education certification; evening and weekend work is expected.
Formación
- Master's degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, or Performance or the equivalent.
- Equivalent - Candidates not possessing the required qualification must complete the Equivalency form.
- Valid California community college credential in appropriate subject or equivalency process.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds.
Responsabilidades
- Assess learning outcomes to improve teaching and institutional effectiveness.
- Teach online or hybrid courses; distance education certification may be required or waiver of prior certification accepted.
- Collaborate with designers and technical staff on production design (sets, lights, props, costumes, sounds, projections).
- Hold auditions, lead rehearsals, and attend performances in evenings or weekends.
