El Camino College is seeking anticipated part-time Theatre faculty for the 2027 spring semester to teach courses THEA-197abcd and THEA-274abcd. Faculty will assess learning outcomes and support institutional effectiveness while offering in-person, online or hybrid formats as needed.

Responsibilities include auditions, rehearsals, performances in evenings, and collaboration with designers and tech staff. Online teaching may require distance education certification or eligible waiver.

Formación

• Master's degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, or Performance or equivalent.
• Equivalency process via Request for Equivalency form.
• Valid CA community college credential in appropriate subject; plus awareness of diverse student backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assess learning outcomes to improve teaching and institutional effectiveness.
• Faculty assignments may include morning, afternoon, evening or weekends.
• Hold auditions, lead rehearsal process, attend performances in evenings.
• Collaborate with designers and technical staff on set/lighting/sound/projections.
