Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Dallas is seeking a part-time Tennis Pro Shop Attendant to deliver friendly service and support daily operations of the tennis shop. You will assist members, handle merchandise, process transactions, and help with lessons and events.

Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays based on program needs. This non-exempt role focuses on customer care, accurate records, and teamwork in a fast-paced recreational environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of tennis equipment and terminology (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist customers with merchandise selection (racquets, apparel, accessories).
• Process retail transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Answer questions regarding tennis programs, lessons, and events.
• Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Help with registration for lessons, clinics, and tournaments.
• Support check-in for tennis programs and events.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and daily sales reports.
• Support basic clerical tasks as needed.
