Job summary

USTA National Headquarters seeks a part-time Tennis Professional to deliver high-quality on-court instruction and engage players of all ages. The role supports instructional programming at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, with clinics, camps, and private lessons.

The ideal candidate has proven coaching experience, current USTA or PTR certification, and availability up to 28 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven coaching and on-court instruction for players of varied ages.
• Current USTA coaching certification or PTR certification required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, energetic environment for players of all ages.
• Demonstrate advanced playing techniques and lead clinics and private lessons.
• Promote participation through client engagement and networking.
• Plan and execute programs: clinics, camps, drop-ins, private lessons.
• Assist with events and tournaments and support US Open operations.
• Implement player development systems aligned with Net Generation formats.
