Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
• Strong coaching skills in tennis and match play.
• Proven ability to recruit prospective student-athletes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills for practice planning and logistics.
• Commitment to student-athlete academic and athletic growth.

Responsibilities

• Assists with year‑round recruitment of high school and junior college players, including visits, calls and letters.
• Assists with delivering coaching instructions in a variety of learning styles.
• Assists with pre/post workouts using a teaching approach.
• Ensures tapes/video equipment are prepared for home and away games and exchanges tapes with opponents.
• Record statistics for each match.
• Represent the program in a professional, mentoring style.
