Job summary

Philadelphia University is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Coach to assist the head coach in all aspects of team development, training sessions, game preparation, and compliance with NCAA regulations.

The role includes supporting opponent scouting, video analysis, recruiting activities, travel coordination, and student‑athlete development to foster a positive team culture and academic success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Prior coaching and competitive experience, collegiate coaching preferred.
• Working knowledge of NCAA regulations; Division II rules preferred.
• Experience with travel coordination and equipment management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading training sessions, game strategies, and player development.
• Support opponent scouting, video analysis, and team preparation for practices and competitions.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate with prospective student‑athletes in compliance with NCAA regulations.
• Assist with travel logistics, equipment management, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules.
• Promote academic success and a positive team culture on and off the field.
