Position Information

Job Title: Part-Time Temporary Groundskeeper/Custodian

Salary: $17.55/hr. ($22.70/hr. for snow removal as needed)

Job Summary

Perform all phases of custodial and groundskeeping work.

Essential Functions
  • Mow and remove trash. Keep sidewalks and entryways clean. Weed eating, gardening, and landscaping.
  • Perform various building cleaning tasks including but not limited to: clean and vacuum carpets; maintain hard surface flooring; clean whiteboards, ledges, and erasers; clean glass; wash windows; dust furniture; clean ceiling diffusers; clean trash cans; clean walls; other tasks as required or needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Iowa Driver’s License with good driving record.
  • Ability to periodically move equipment/furniture/supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with mowers and weed eaters.
  • Commercial cleaning experience.
Work Schedule

Daytime hours (TBD), 12-20 hrs/week
