Quinnipiac University is seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-driven Part-Time Temporary Regional Admissions Recruiter to serve as the University's representative throughout Northern New Jersey during the undergraduate recruitment cycle. This is a 19-hour-per-week, 10-month position and an exciting opportunity to connect with prospective students and families while promoting Quinnipiac's academic programs, student experience, and vibrant campus community.
Working remotely within this assigned territory, the Regional Admissions Recruiter will cultivate strong relationships with high school counselors, prospective students, families, and community partners to support the University's undergraduate enrollment goals. The successful candidate will travel extensively throughout Northern New Jersey to visit high schools, attend college fairs, deliver engaging presentations, and conduct prospective student interviews as appropriate.
In this role, you will also evaluate undergraduate applications in accordance with university admissions policies and contribute to enrollment decisions through thoughtful and holistic application review.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and personable professional with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for helping students navigate the college search process while serving as an ambassador for Quinnipiac University.
Periodic travel to Quinnipiac's Hamden, Connecticut campus is required to participate in admissions events, including Open Houses, Accepted Student programs, training, and team meetings.
