Job summary

Citi in Central Islip, New York, is seeking a part-time Teller to support day-to-day branch operations and deliver high-quality client service. You will handle cash transactions, educate clients on digital services, and identify opportunities to refer Citi products aligned with client goals.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced branch environment. Prior money handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Citi clients and provide a positive first impression through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Perform banking transactions including cash deposits/withdrawals and maintaining branch vault cash.
• Identify referral opportunities for new products and services based on client’s financial goals.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service opportunities offered by Citi.
• Adhere to bank policies and regulatory procedures to ensure safety of client and assets.
• Address client needs and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of client accounts and products; support branch service goals.
• Support risk management and compliance with accurate reporting and ethical conduct.
