Job summary

First Citizens Community Bank is seeking a Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts) to deliver friendly, accurate service. You will process transactions, open and maintain deposit accounts, and promote the bank's services to meet customer needs.

The role includes cash handling, vault/ATM duties, and adhering to banking rules. Hours average about 19 per week with rotating Saturday shifts, totaling roughly 975 hours per year.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous customer service.
• Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products.
• Promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs.
• Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer.
• Follow procedures and comply with banking regulations.
• Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed goals.
• Interact constructively with co-workers.
