Job summary

ChoiceOne Bank in Grand Haven, MI is seeking a Teller to be the face of the branch, delivering world-class service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Through daily interactions, you will identify needs and introduce customers to bankers.

This non-remote, full-time role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months cash handling experience. You will balance daily transactions, follow bank policies, and strive to meet teller sale/referral goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience preferred
• Must follow bank policies and customer service standards
• Ability to balance daily transactions and maintain accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking products, services, and technology

Responsibilities

• Perform and follow the Bank’s policies, procedures, and customer service standards
• Operate teller window in accordance with bank policy, balancing daily
• Meet and exceed teller sale/referral goals
• Process cash and non-cash bank transactions accurately, efficiently, and with confidentiality
• Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking products, financial services, and technology
• Develop relationships with clients and ensure customers’ awareness of services offered; recognize needs and refer to bankers
• Be familiar with and comply with Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act
• Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations
