Job summary

PNC is seeking a part-time Teller in our Northwest Region Retail Banking team, based in Kinnelon, NJ. This in-office role supports customer interactions, helps educate clients on services, and refers opportunities to branch staff while maintaining accurate cash handling and daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, accuracy, and the ability to leverage technology to assist customers.

Qualifications

• No university degree required; experience may substitute.
• Prior banking or teller experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of customer interactions and educate customers on alternatives for their financial interactions.
• Identify banking opportunities during customer interactions and refer as appropriate to branch staff.
• Conduct lobby engagements to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology and resources.
• Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, exhibiting sound judgment within established limits.
