Job summary

Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a part-time Teller for the White Hills (Shelton) Branch. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, handling transactions, and supporting sales of deposit products. The position works with Branch Management to follow bank policies and goals.

The schedule averages 20–25 hours per week, with weekday 10 am–2 pm shifts and a Saturday 8:30 am–12:30 pm shift. The teller will also help generate leads and cover other branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers; resolve complaints or refer to management.
• Promote deposit products and services; identify sales opportunities.
• Process daily teller transactions within policy; obtain supervisor approval for exceptions.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling and balance ATM, cashier, and branch records as needed.
