Job summary

NET Credit Union in Olyphant, PA is seeking a part-time teller to deliver high-quality service and transaction accuracy. You will handle cash, balance the drawer, process withdrawals, deposits and loan payments, and support members with information about products and services.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of similar or related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle cash in a fast-paced setting and balance cash drawer regularly.
• Capable of processing withdrawals, loan payments, and deposits accurately.
• Willingness to learn to operate branch equipment (ATM, coin machine, cash recycler).

Responsibilities

• Assist members with opening and closing accounts and collect required information.
• Promote products and services offered by the credit union.
• Navigate computer software and handle member inquiries.
• Work in a team-oriented setting and contribute as needed.
• Follow guidelines to ensure proper handling of transactions and account information.

This is a part-time position and requires every Saturday

Requirements

• Able to handle cash in a fast paced setting; balance cash drawer on a regular basis
• Follow all established guidelines set forth to ensure proper handling of member transactions and account information including check endorsements, check cashing guidelines and proper check holds
• Able to process withdrawals, loan payments and deposits on member's accounts accurately and efficiently
• Work in a team oriented setting and contribute as necessary
• Be willing and able to learn to operate branch equipment such as the ATM, coin machine and cash recycler
• Assist members with opening and closing accounts, obtain accurate information from the member along with supported documentation
• Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to discuss delicate matters with members at account opening or closing. Interview members to be able to discuss and promote the appropriate products and services offered at the credit union
• Must have thorough working knowledge of all credit union products and services and how they can benefit our members
• Navigate computer software and investigate member inquiries
• Other duties as assigned
