Job summary

At Home in Sandy, Utah is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to support operations, front-end, freight, and merchandising while maintaining our active selling culture.

This role requires enthusiastic lifting, stocking, and moving around a warehouse-format store, plus delivering friendly, efficient service to customers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times.
• The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior.
• Flexible and creative with the ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.

Responsibilities

• The TM maintains a positive attitude, works with urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
• Provides excellent customer service in a customer-focused environment.
• Performs cashier and front-end duties, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience.
• Processes freight, sorts, stocks products in designated areas, all store merchandising guidelines.
• Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building.
• Completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Actively impacts and participates in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store operates effectively and profitably.
• All other duties based on business need.
