Job summary

GradePower Learning Frisco is seeking a Part-Time Teacher/Tutor to support elementary and middle school students after school and on Saturdays. In-person role requiring commute to the Frisco center, with pre-planned lessons and comprehensive training in our proprietary methods.

You will teach up to three students, follow established methodologies, and provide daily updates. A background check is mandatory, and the schedule is Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-7:00pm with Saturday 11am-1pm as a possible

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to 8th grade curriculum.

Responsibilities

Part-Time Teacher/Tutor

Eager to help elementary and middle school students succeed in all subjects?

We are currently seeking part-time tutors for a role in our learning center atGradePower Learning Frisco. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language, math, among other subjects, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.

Tutorsat GradePower Learningdo nothave to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Position Requirements:

All Tutors at GradePower Learning work during after-school hours; additionally, Saturday morning and early afternoon availability is preferred. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.

This role isin-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This isnotan online position. Relocation packages are not available. A background check is mandatory.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field

Experience:

• Some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to 8th grade level(or equivalent)
• Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16 - $22 / hour based on previous experience and education

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 7:00pm
