Job summary

LearnWell in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking a part-time teacher to support adolescent students in a residential eating disorder treatment setting. The role involves planning daily lessons, providing individualized assistance, and communicating progress within a small classroom (8–15 students).

The schedule is 20 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 8am–12pm. Qualifications include a B.A./B.S., an active California teaching license, and comfort with upper level Math and Science.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Active California teaching license.
• Experience teaching 7th–12th grade.
• Ability to assist with upper level Math and Science.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain attendance and session reports.
