Job summary

LearnWell in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking a passionate part-time teacher to support adolescent patients in a residential eating disorder facility. You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized help, and track progress in a small classroom of 8 to 15 students.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Minnesota teaching license.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in St.Louis Park, MN on a part-time basis. This unique position will involve working in residential eating disorder facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entailed a year round, 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 12-4pm.
