LearnWell in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a dedicated part-time teacher to support child and adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility. You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized support, and communicate progress while adapting strategies for success in a small classroom setting.

You will join a team serving students in grades 7-12, with typical class sizes of 15–20, and benefit from paid time off, holidays, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualificações

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Pennsylvania State teaching license.

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Bethlehem,PA on a part-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entailed a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 12:00-4:00pm.
