Job summary

Golden State Cider is seeking a friendly Taproom Bartender for the San Francisco location. You will take orders, operate the POS, handle payments, and ensure a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced taproom environment.

The role emphasizes beverage preparation, brand storytelling, and teamwork with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Prior bartending or serving experience is preferred, with opportunities to participate in staff trainings and events.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bartending or comparable serving experience
• Must be 21+ and hold a valid California driver's license
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to participate in staff trainings and events

Responsibilities

• Efficient preparation of beverages in the taproom
• Share information about brands and products
• Educate customers and make recommendations
• Record orders in the POS system
• Handle payments and make change
• Maintain cleanliness of bar, taps and prep areas
• Assist with inventory and replenishment
• Support events and promotions
• Follow opening/closing duties
• Sell Sonoma Craft merchandise
