Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks a skilled and motivated Part-Time System Administrator to join our government team. You will maintain, configure, and operate critical computer systems and cloud infrastructure, supporting the project development lifecycle and enabling engineering teams to succeed.

Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes clusters, Azure resources, Artifactory repositories, and license servers, plus performance monitoring, documentation, and timely support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration, cluster setup, and app deployment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services including VMs, AKS, networking and AD.
• Experience managing JFrog Artifactory or similar binary repo managers.
• Experience administering Cameo Systems Modeler and FlexNet License Manager.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Administration: deploy, manage, and maintain clusters; ensure high availability.
• Azure Cloud Management: administer Azure IaaS/PaaS resources and migrations.
• Repository & License Management: manage Artifactory, Cameo, and FlexNet license servers.
• System Support & Maintenance: monitor systems, provide user support, document configurations.
